My other fishing hole for abstracts was a bit

more cooperative this weekend. 

Part of the dock was a perfect swirl

of colors, but the closer to the open

water I got, the more choppy the surface.

Always a balance with this art photograph!

Finally, the weather was good enough to go shooting.

Just a hint of sun but mostly overcast.

At least it wasn't raining!

 Water was flat as glass, so I had to rely on

the boats venting water or people coming in to dock to

get the water moving.

 An image taken with my "new" camera yesterday in Galveston.

Although the wind was making it a challenge to get good reflections, 

the sun and breeze made for a nice morning on the shoreline.

So far it looks like the new camera will fit the bill!
